Spartan For Life: MSU Running Back Nick Hill Gets Enormous Mascot Tattoo
What better way to show your intense levels of school pride by getting the mascot embedded into your skin for all eternity. That's just what popular Michigan State running back Nick Hill did. The Spartan's kick returner and half back tweeted the picture of his new tattoo which features a Spartan war covering most of the right half of his torso with the message "Bleed Green".
Hill's design is simple and reminiscent of the Spartan warriors from the movie 300 which runs the entire length of his right oblique. The intimidating Spartan is armed to the teeth with a helmet, cape, spear, shield and loin armor complete with a set of clouds in the background to add a little artistic flair. Despite having to be unbelievably painful, the attention to detail is second to none -- just check out the attention to detail on the shield and the ornaments on the loin armor. Credit goes to tattoo artist Solomon Trofatter at Splash of Color Tattoos in East Lansing, Mich., for this fine piece of work
Let's just hope that Hill doesn't wind up transferring from MSU. He would be very hard press to find another university to match is new ink.
