Playstation Debuts SimulView 3D Display
Kevin Butler, the comical pseudo Sony VP, is back again to introduce the innovative SimulView 3D display. Gone are the days of split-screen gaming. The 24-inch 3D display allows two gamers to play the same Playstation 3 game but see one full-screen image courtesy of a pair of special 3D glasses. The display broadcasts two signals and the each pair of glasses picks up either the left or right signal at one time - resulting in gamers receiving two totally different images while playing. So far, the SimulView only works with a few select PS3 titles (Killzone 3, MotorStorm, Apocalypse and Gran Turismo 5) but we can see this becoming a mainstay in the gaming community.
