New Meets Old with the Trumstand For Apple iPhone
The Trumstand for the iPhone is a aesthetic return to the beginnings of music from over a century ago. The gramophone inspired dock was created by Japanese design company Pleiades and does not amplify the acoustics by technological means. Instead, the device makes use of an S-shaped metal horn. The horn picks up sound from the iPhone's speakers and carries it through the curving cylinder. Made of hand-crafted brass and plated with pure sterling silver, the Trumstand delivers a rich sound and provides vintage style to match. The Trumstand is available now through Japan’s Restir.
