Mopar Debuts 590HP 2012 Dodge Charger Redline
Based off the V-8-powered Charger R/T, Dodge performance division Mopar is preparing to unveil the 2012 Charger Redline at The Detroit Auto Show later this month. The more aggressive looking and sounding Redline packs a 426 HEMI powered V8 engine with a 426 cubic-inch "Elephant Motor", capable of dishing out 590 horsepower. The V8 engine is made of extremely lightweight aluminum that shaves more than 100lbs off of the stock version. Mopar is offering several industry first amenities including a mobile wi-fi hotspot, WiTech vehicle diagnostic support, a Mopar racing drag pack and vehicle information apps accessible from your smartphone. We'll have more on this mean ass ride as the Detriot Auto Show draws closer in the coming weeks.
