‘Honey Badger’ Returns Punt 62-Yards Against Georgia
Being a native of Georgia, this one kind of hurts but it was impressive nevertheless. LSU's Tyrann Mathieu's returned a 62 yard punt for a touchdown in the first half of the SEC Championship Game — LSU's first score of the afternoon. The impressive return was actually should not have been counted. Just as Mathieu crossed the goal line, he flipped the ball to an official signaling the touchdown. Thanks to they great technology of slow-motion review it was clear the "Honey Badger" didn't actually get the ball into the end zone. This actually could have turned the momentum of the game back to UGA, but we doubt it. LSU went on to pummel the Bulldogs 42-10 for the SEC championship.
