‘Haywire’ Star Gina Carano Kicks Ass in GQ
For his new action flick, Haywire, Director Steven Soderbergh didn't want a star who could only pretend to fight her way through dangerous black-ops agents. He wanted a knockout who could actually...you know....knock you out! Soderberg's vision was embraced by the mixed martial artist and ex-American Gladiator Gina Carano. Gina gives an exclusive interview to GQ magazine accompanied by a set of killer photos. "The guys I date always want to test my strength and wrestle around," she says, laughing. "By the end, they're drenched in sweat." By the looks of her skills in the new trailer for Haywire below, I assume she's telling the truth as she portrays a black-ops super soldier seeking payback after she is betrayed and set up during a mission. Haywire also stars Ewan McGregor, Michael Fassbender, Channing Tatum, Michael Douglas and Antonio Banderas
