Galpin Widebody Mustang Grabs Attention at Barrett-Jackson 2012
Built by Galpin for industrial company SPX, the Widebody Mustang was a big attention-grabber at the recent Barrett-Jackson 2012 auto show and auction. The specially built Mustang features a hand-crafted body that widens the car by an unprecedented nine inches and a supercharged 5.0 liter V8 engine capable of producing over 700HP. A custom suede interior was added along with an upgraded exhaust system, finished with a Candy Apple Red paint job and a set of three-piece forged wheels. The car garnered an impressive $160,000 at the Barrett-Jackson auction which will donated to benefit the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
