2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible
We don't receive a lot of opportunities to discuss American muscle too many times, so we relish in the fact that the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible has made it's way into the public eye in recent days. The Camaro ZL1 Convertible will be the most powerful convertible for Chevrolet ever when it appears in 2013, boasting a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 engine producing 580 hp. That's a lot of horses people. Along with a handful of technical improvements to reduce noise and vibration, the ZL1 has been upgraded with Performance Traction Management, GM's highly praised Magnetic Ride suspension.
Chevy has gone so far to take shots at their automotive rivals during press conferences by stating the new ZL1's horsepower in comparable to other drop tops such as the Aston Martin DB9 Volante, Porsche 911 Turbo S Convertible and the 550HP Ford Mustand Shelby GT500 Convertible. If that isn't American bravado, I don't know what is.
